I used to play ‘house’ a lot with my cousins growing up. My cousins always played doting moms to their babies.
I, on the other hand, always played sick so I didn’t have to care for my pretend children. I also had a pretend career and a pretend dog. Not once did I play sick when it was time to go to work or walk the dog….
I think my inner child would be thrilled to know she didn’t have to be up all night with a crying baby.
