I have so many reasons to not have children.
I had a very difficult life growing up with an ill parent, and took on many responsibilities as a child. My family did what they could but the truth is I had to deal with a lot of things by myself at such a young age.
I’m 29 and life hasn’t been easy on me. II fight everyday to achieve my dreams with very few resources. It’s hard enough to create happiness and stability for myself in a screwed-up system, with very little support and almost no family. All I wish for is for the right person by my side in the future, financial stability and a healthy life.
Plus I work with children and my “job” can be really challenging for my mental health. Bringing a life into the world would be prison for me.
All my life I took care of others but who will take care of me if not myself? I still have a lot to live and need to take care of the life I never had.
