I live in Poland, where tubal ligation is illegal, but vasectomy is available in every big city.
During my life I was denied contraception many times. There were situations that doctors denied me pill prescription due to their religious views.
I never found a doctor who would agree on IUD insertion because I had never given birth.
I had to travel to different country, to an abortion clinic, to get my sterilization done. Of course I paid for the procedure, it was not covered by my insurance.
