I’m a 45 year-old male who has lived his life childfree. I have had my share of scares and pregnancies and abortions by partners. My fear of failure and pursuit of a free expression-filled life has kept me from becoming a father.
I worked with children for 5 years as a substitute teacher and learned that not everyone was meant to have the most important job anywhere, which is being a parent. Several years ago I decided to have a vasectomy, a decision I wish I had made sooner.
My choice to not have children has allowed me to build a small business that I love and have taken with me as I have traveled the world for the past 11 years.
